Dubai Marina & Vicinity, p2

Dubai Marina and Jumeriah Lake Towers after sunrise, 18 Oct 2006.

Morning Light

The morning sun rises over the distant desert and quickly illuminates the towers looming over the landscape. By 7 a.m. construction crews are already at work. The October morning air is comfortable, neither chilli nor warm. Towers take on golden and silver hues.

The construction crew in the foreground works at the former site of the Emaar Sales office.

From left, Emaar's Marina Tower, Damac's Marina Terrace and the Grosvenor Hotel.
